EZ GrowFarm is seeking an experienced Healthcare Supervisor to oversee our occupational health program, ensuring the safety and well-being of 200+ farm and processing staff. You’ll build a culture of health while managing on-site medical services, compliance, and emergency response.Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise healthcare assistants, EMTs, and clinic staff; schedule shifts and provide training.
- Occupational Health Programs: Develop and implement farm-specific wellness initiatives (heat stress prevention, injury reduction, vaccination drives).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA, FDA, and state agricultural health regulations; manage incident reporting.
- Clinical Oversight: Direct triage for injuries/illnesses; coordinate with physicians for advanced care.
- Emergency Response: Lead on-site crisis management (injuries, environmental hazards, outbreaks).
- Resource Management: Maintain medical supplies, PPE inventory, and clinic equipment.
- Data & Reporting: Track health metrics, workers’ compensation cases, and program ROI.
- Staff Education: Conduct safety trainings (chemical handling, ergonomics, first aid).
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active RN, BSN, NP, or PA license (state-specific). Alternatively: Certified Occupational Health Specialist (COHN-S) with clinical oversight experience.
- Experience:
- 3+ years in occupational health, urgent care, or ER settings.
- 1+ year in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or industrial environments (highly preferred).
- Certifications: Current BLS/CPR, ACLS, and OSHA 30-Hour (or willingness to obtain).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in EMR systems (e.g., Epic, HealthWorks).
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation processes.
- Critical Competencies:
- Leadership in high-pressure situations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – essential for farm staff communication.
- Expertise in agricultural health risks (heat illness, pesticide exposure, musculoskeletal injuries).
