EZ GrowFarm isn’t just growing produce—we’re growing a healthier community. We’re seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support our on-site wellness initiatives, providing essential care to our farm staff and promoting a culture of safety and health.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic first aid, triage, and urgent care for farm staff (cuts, sprains, heat-related illnesses, etc.).
  • Assist with health screenings, vaccination clinics, and wellness programs under nurse supervision.
  • Maintain accurate health records and incident reports using digital systems.
  • Educate staff on injury prevention, hydration, and farm safety protocols.
  • Manage medical inventory (supplies, PPE, medications) and restock first-aid stations.
  • Support COVID-19/communicable disease response (testing, tracing, education).
  • Coordinate with occupational health providers and emergency services as needed.
  • Promote mental health resources and stress-management initiatives.

Job Requirement

Qualifications:
  • Certification: Valid CNA, EMT, MA certification, or equivalent healthcare training.
  • Experience: 1+ years in clinical support, urgent care, occupational health, or field triage.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in first aid, CPR/BLS (current certification required).
    • Ability to assess and stabilize minor injuries independently.
    • Familiarity with EMR systems and health documentation.
  • Traits:
    • Compassionate, calm under pressure, and culturally sensitive.
    • Strong communication skills (bilingual in [e.g., Spanish] is a major plus).
    • Comfort working outdoors in farm environments (heat, dust, variable weather).
  • Physical Ability: Lift 30+ lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
